Board Action

Lion Sue Brinkhaupt has been searching for a location for our 30th Anniversary. It looks like Jennifer's Restaurant is still the best for our needs. Lion John Hoos commented that several Boy Scouts were looking for community service projects. Some of them would probably like to give us a hand for Adopt-A-Highway. They would work with us in pairs, on a one-to-one basis. The Scouting for Food project will be held the week before Thanksgiving.

Club News

Lion Walt Jacobus has been ill these last few weeks. He was in rehabilitation at Saint Joseph's hospital, but is now home. Get well Lion Walt! We miss you at the meetings.

Each year our Club donates cases of food to the Big Flats Community Food Pantry four our World Service Project. Enclosed (with Club Bulletin) is an order form to make your selection from the specially priced truckload sale of food items offered by Minier's Market. Please make your choice and return the order sheet and money to Lion Jim Ormiston or Lion Steve Connors who chair this project. All orders should be returned before October 16th.

Happy Birthday to Lions Walt Jacobus, Oct. 6th, and Bill Powell, Oct. 26th.
