Our annual Christmas party was wonderful with 21 members and 16 guests in attendance. Peter Chwazik played guitar throughout dinner, and this was followed by our traditional Chinese Auction hosted by Lion Lance Muir with help from Barb Rhodes and Lions Bill Powell and Marshall Updike. Auction items were donated by Rose and Lion Bob Byland, Lion Judy Zimmerman, and Lion Dick Wardell. Ann Ormiston won the 50/50 drawing, and using our remaining tickets, King Lion Bob raffled off the center pieces and other decorative items from the party.
o Lion Tom Rhodes mentioned that he had not yet received a bill from Minier's for the turkeys we raffled.
Good of the Order:
o Lion Bill Powell noted that our scheduled January board meeting falls on Martin Luther King's birthday, and our February board meeting falls on President's day. King Lion Bob offered to host these meetings at his home. Secretary Farr will begin sending reminders to all members for the time and location of future board meetings.
o It was further noted that our first dinner meeting in February falls on the 14th, Valentine's Day.
