Club News:
We had two wonderful speakers in March, including Ron Hoodock on the Wings of Eagles Science Academy. Their next program will be LEGO Robotics Tournament #2 on April 4, 5, and 6. Full scholarships are $1000/child and help build skills for employment. Our club has committed to a half scholarship this hyear for %500. Later in the month we had our own Lion Ralph Marino give an overview of the budget along with information on the state of affairs in Albany. The formal budget presentation will be in April/May, and there is detailed information from an earlier presentation on the School District website.

The Camp Badger season is heating up and Lion Gary Bernhardt has announced that we will be fixing the rear doors on cabin #3 on April 16th. Lion Constance Lambert announced that the Camp Badger Director has asked her to cook for another group for a total of 20 on the 16th, and she has appealed to the Club for help. Adopt-a-Highway is also on tap for April 30th. Contact Lion Gene Herber for details. April's Blood Drive (4/12) is basically manned, though there is the possibility that Lion Judy Zimmerman may not be back in Town in time. Please contact Lion Gary Bernhardt if you'd like to help.
