Club News:
Bills for annual dues were handed out at last dinner meeting. $61.00 for single members, $50.25 each for couples.

The Community Kitchen Lunch was served on 9/13 by five Lions and one spouse. Meatball subs, 2 salads and ice cream were served to 59 persons for at total of 114 meals. Looks like nearly everyone wanted seconds. Way to go Lion Dave and crew!

At the dinner meeting on the 23rd several items of Club business were discussed. King Lion Bob asked for suggestions on projects that the Club might focus on. A further explanation of the proposed Administrative Memorial Fund was held and there was some discussion. Any profit in the fund will used to defray membership expenses. A vote will probably take place at the next Board meeting on the 21st. Talk to any Board member with questions you may have.

Lion Mary Ann suggested that a grove of trees to placed on the Community Center Lawns perhaps as memorials to past Lions.

Lion Mary Ann is in chargae of a Turkey Raffle to be held sometime in Nov. She will be looking for volunteers to sell tickets at Miniers.

Lion Lance reported that there will be no Costa Fly-in this year. He also reported that one of the coffee makers was broken and has been replaced in time for the next Rest Stop.
